A walkthrough SIPCOT* IT Park, SIRUSERI
Said to be the largest IT Park in Asia, SIPCOT is planned over a total area of 782.51 acres / 4 km2 and is a State govt initiative that started way back in 1971. I must add that SIPCOT is a coveted address for TOP FORTUNE 500 companies.

On entering the complex, to the right is TCS (Tata Consultancy services). I cannot comment on the work atmosphere as I haven't worked here, but the sheer scale and size of its ultra-modern architecture is awe-inspiring. Apparently TCS SIRUSERI is the largest among all their branches across India
Like TCS, there are other TOP FORTUNE 500 companies with large facilities such as: Hexaware Technologies, Cognizant, Capgemini, Companies Edit, Aspire systems and many more.

WTC World Trade centre also has an office in Chennai. Located at Perungudi OMR, the WTC building, said to be the tallest in Chennai and allocated to Fortune 500 companies exclusively, thus making it another feather in the cap.

A smooth road network that runs parallel to and merges well with ECR (East Coast road) heading south.
Biodiversity and environment
Another thing worth noting is; the onslaught of recent cyclonic floods in Chennai has had little or no impact on the OMR stretch making it a safer option to bet on. There are also patches of brackish backwaters which is a respite for migratory birds, thus adding to the beauty.
